Necessary Roughness (1991) IMDB rating: 5.50 Plot: Paul Blake is a 34-year-old farmer who was once a star high-school football player, one of the best quarterbacks in Texas. I have A LOT of Marine Corps questions?
First of all, thanks for reading this. Secondly, all answers are VERY much appreciated!

I’m a female but want to be deployed to the Middle East ( I’m not saying I’m asking to get shot at or kill people, but I want to get as close to Infantry as possible.And when I say this I’m saying I don’t want anyone to get on here and go off on me for wanting to get in the line of fire. Though, I guess that’s what I’m asking for) So I’m assuming Field MP is as close as I’m going to get? Also, if I go MP what are my chances of being deployed and if I am what would I do? And if I go to college first and become an Officer do I still have the same options?

Now, these next few questions are about Marine Corps boot-camp and other random questions:

1.What crossed your mind (if you remember) when you first got yelled at by a DI or first arrived at bootcamp?
2. What were the gas chambers like? (I’m sorry if they aren’t called gas chambers, I wasn’t sure what to call them)
3. What was the hardest part? (though I’m sure it’s all very difficult)
4. What made you want to be a Marine?
5. And finally, what advice would you give to somebody that wants to become a Marine?

Ok, well now I just want to say a few things ( like I haven’t said enough ha ha)

First of all, to all of you Marines out there, you are my absolute heroes. Everyday I pray for you and pray that one day I can become like you. I want the discipline, courage, and respect ( among so many other things) that Marines have. I love the Marine Corps so much and want nothing more than to earn the title Marine. I want to make myself worthy of being in the Marine Corps and I’m determined to do so. Thank you so much to anyone that answers

I have a lot of Marine Corps answers. Most women I know never left the wire when they were deployed. If you’re an MP you’ll more than likely be on a base in Iraq or Afghanistan.

1. "What the F did I get myself into!?"
2. In bootcamp it’s a haze fest. It sucks. You inhale a lot of CS gas and you start crying and coughing up nastiness. All in all it was fun. The gas chamber is meant to test your gas mask.
3. The mind games.
4. Wanted to serve. Wanted money for college. And why settle for anything less then the best.
5. Get in good shape. Make sure 110% that this is what you want to do with your life.

Ask your recruiter about the MP’s being victor designated(that’s our term for deployable units) if you go in as enlisted there’s a very good chance you will get to be an MP. If you wait and go to colledge earn a degree(kudos to you) and then join as an officer you will not get a choice in where you are assigned, as the Marine Corps knows better than you where you are needed.

2. It was fun, everyone gets sick(a cold) and this just clears your sinuses out really well haha.
3. It’s all a mind game, once you realize that it’s all gravy.
4. I wanted to be the best there is.
5. Make absolutely sure it’s what you want to do, this is not something to enter into lightly. Find your local Marine Corps League and talk to some of the members and also talk to a recruiter.

Good luck to you, and from reading your last paragraph I doubt you’ll have any problem earning the title.
