I want to read comic books, more x-men then anything really. So I looked up x-men comics online and found : Marvel Masterworks, and I got the The X-men Vol. 1 – Vol. 6 and also got, The Uncanny x-men Vol. 1 – Vol. 6. what I want to know is if anybody knows what comes after that? like I really Don’t have any clue.

not many people start from the very beginning but you can collect Masterworks to read from their 1963 debut till the 70s.

Most are still easy to collect. Most of the older stuff was issue to issue, not till the 80s do the storylines have repercussions that echo till now.

I mean you have A LOT to read but its bloody worth it.

this will take you from 1963 till about 2003 or around there. By this stage you will know how to find the next series of issues.

Just remember it starts with Uncanny then branches out in 2-3 main X-Mean teams so 3 X-men comics per month.. then introduces other X- Teams like X-Force, X-Factor, Generation X etc. Don’t be put off, just read what you enjoy instead of trying to read everything. I suggest purchasing something like the Ultimate Guide (978-0756620059).

Get into the animated series and stuff too!

The very first were the Uncanny Xmen from the 50’s, start there, then move on to a different story line. if it has a different name than uncanny, like masterworks, or universe, or something, the story lines will be different. You will get quite confused.

Why do "street fighters" think they can fight?
I do MMA and I’m sick of people (who may have gotten in a fight at school or with a sibling and won and think they are world class fighters) saying they can kick my ass. I ask them to spare but they are too afraid. Why do they think they can fight?

why do people who take MMA think they can beat anybody- streetfighter or traditional martial artist.. true martial artists/fighters know not to underestimate anybody they may or may not get into a fight with.. you never know what the people you run into on a daily basis know.. confidence to know what to do in a fight does not mean thinking you are able to beat anybody down…and realizing the best defense is to avoid a fight in the first place.

another way to look at it is to realize that most MMA/martial arts competitions involve rules and refs and people who fight on the street can fight without rules and survive.. yeah techniques can be adaptable to the street but the ability to fight through the "rules" limitations in your trained brain can make it hard to adapt.

These people think that they are tough. Since you have said that you train in MMA, they want to keep thinking that they are the toughest and so that is why they say what they say. They may be jealous that you are actually training that that it is YOU who knows how to actually fight, not them. I know exactly how you feel. I train in Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu, and there’s lots of people who call me out. I’ve only fought one of them, and it really was not worth. So, don’t fight these bullies and "tough guys". Whenever somebody tells you that they can beat or something, you can always think in the back or your mind "I can tap him out, I have beat him" but you never actually have to fight. So, in short, these "street fighters" think they can fight because they think they’re tough because they fight without any training, and are jealous of your training and skills.

I agree with you, those people think they can fight because they think they can win any fight they get into, which is wrong, because someone else who has skills like you in mma could easily beat him up. now usually since the people you describe are under 18 because of school fights, they like to gloat, they think that if they beat a person up they are feared by other students, also they want to have glory, true fighters don’t go around bragging they can beat anyone up.

oooh, you do MMA, so scary, sorry but my point with the sarcasm is that while you say you do MMA, you do not mention anything about your ability, you could have started yesterday and you could still be doing MMA, and like someone else said, and mind if I put it in my own words, The Ability to fight is nothing to the ability to adapt your fighting. Somebody who knows a lot of techniques but can’t adapt to unexpected circumstances will lose to somebody who knows a few and can think on the fly.

Fighting isn’t just about beating down your opponent, it’s about out thinking and out maneuvering them until victory is clutched firmly in your grasp.

Though admittedly those who just spout that they can kick your ass are probably idiots.

Whats the point, theres not going to be and X4 and if there was, we’d have comepletely different characters and some random playing Prof X, i don’t recall that in any of the comic history I’ve read. Brett Ratner officially ended the X-Men movies, now we can only make do with the Origins, Wolverine (of course giving films to the most favoured Marvel hero), Magneto (no idea), Emma Frost and Gambit (secondary characters in Comics and Cartoons) and X-Men: First Class, a film about the young X-Men (Beast, Grey, Cyclops, Storm, the last three featured in X-3(Grey) and Wolverine (Cyclops and Storm). There would be no point in an X-4 when for the next 3/4 years we have Origin stories and other Marvel movies coming out.

Ok, when the professor was showing the video he was talking about ethics. The man in the bed was a vegetable anyways, born healthy but basically just a body. The professor was talking about wither it was ethically to transfer someones essence into that body to save there life. Because basically you would kill this guy for you to live. When in the end of the movie, the professor succeeded in transferring this essence and survived.

Napolean Dynomite. I have never seen such a stupid movie gain so much popularity. It changed vocabulary for the generation – not for the better. Fatally Corrupt Flash Drive, how to fix (Windows or Linux)?
I have a flash drive that was corrupted while the power went out while trying to partition and install files to it. I have tried many, many ways to fix it both in Windows and Linux and I cannot find a single way to solve this. Here is a list of things that appear (or don’t appear) when trying to fix the drive.

Windows:
- Appears as "Removable Media"
- No Size or File System
- Does not appear in chkdsk or disk management
- When "Remove Safely" is clicked, there is an error
- The drive cannot be opened

Linux:
- Drive cannot be mounted
- Drive cannot be opened/explored
- Size unknown and unknown file system
- Error when partitioned
- fdisk returns "unable to open /dev/sdf" (sdf is the drive)
- Does not register in the GParted application

The drive trashed beyond partitioning with any software I can find. I do not give a **** about any of the software what’s on it, I just need the drive fixed.
EDIT: The drive CANNOT BE FORMATTED, Windows does not even recognise the fact that it is a drive, much less offer to format.

considering the first 2 hulk movies pretty much bombed, financially, i’d say no.

i have heard that darren aronovsky is scheduled to direct a robocop remake for a 2010 summer release.

I think there maybe a Hulk 3 in the makeing! But, i am not so sure on Robocop, Evan though its awsome!
