Help!, My bird! His droppings oddly colored?
My bird has been seemingly weak, doesnt hold his head up much, and he is pooping pink stringy feces! Im extremely worried about him and not sure what to do! I close my door at night so he doesnt fly in to lay down with me – im a deep sleeper- dont wanna roll over on him. He likes to burrow! But when i closed the door he was trying to fly in the room and he ended up crashing head first into the bedroom door on accident. He has been better, but he just stayed in his cage this morning so i couldnt tell if the problem still exists.

When he has hit his head in the past he can take a little bit to recoup, but he seems odd. And feces are different colors.

well…
you should first see a vet
and why dont your just clip the wings?then that way they couldnt fly to get any where.thats what we do with our bird.
and if you dont know how to clip the wings just simply take him to the vet and they will help you.

or u can simply close the cage =]

and about the colorful droppings…u just need to take him to the vet for that

The droppings issue is enough to be seeing the vet about. I wouldnt delay.
Another thing….birds should never be allowed to roam free in the house without supervision. You seem to be going to bed and the bird is still out ?? They need a place thats their bedroom ( cage ) and safe and also getting the required amount of hours sleep. You will do the bird no favours by leaving it out unsupervised.
