I recenly bought an XBOX 360 and the ethernet jack behhind my tv doesnt work because it isnt connected to..?
the internet. Qwest, our internet service provider told us that none of the houses ethernet jacks will work, only the modem’s jack’s will work. I had a plan, but I am not sure if it will work or not. I was going to connect my modem into my houses junction box in the basement. WIll that get all the jacks to work
You need to connect your modem to a router. I’m not sure if that is what you mean by junction box, but make sure your junction box is in fact a router, and not just a hub. If it is a hub, you can connect your modem to your router, and then run a line from your router to your junction box.
